I had to paint this figure twice: I sold the original, and liked it so much I had to paint another one (I just can't seem to let go... ;^) I decided to jazz this one up more than the one I sold, by adding the summoning brazier (a doll-house serving tray) and using some railroad ballast as the "embers".

Since the sculptor (John Dennett yet again ;^) had made such an effort to make the efreeti appear as is he was coallescing from the fire, I had to do my best to paint him that way too. I think I suceeded, but the photos I took of it never seemed to capture the figure as well as I'd hoped. Oh well...
