| This
figure won me the first Online Reaper
Miniatures Painting Contest. That was a fun experience, and I was
thrilled to have a figure sculpted using my design (Rollergirl), by
no less than Sandra Garritty, the sculptor of this beautiful figure!
This mini was originally supposed to be a barbarian queen, but I wanted something a little different, so with inspiration from cheesy "jungle girl" comics, she was born... I wanted a bold, simple color scheme, so I chose yellow and green, with the red staff/lips and her blue eyes being the only other colors. I did the throne as a variation on my marble painting technique. |
